The car is stubborn: starting it requires many young men to push it, and the mechanic Mark hints that the engine works “by a miracle.” Through Ken’s curiosity, the story connects the car’s mystery and rusty parts to earlier inventions—steam and three wheels, then Mr. Benz—while showing Uncle Carl’s refusal to sell, even under financial pressure.","Uncle Carl and his antique \ncar \nAuthor: Obay Aloush Illustrator: Radwa Askar English \nUncle Carl and his antique car \nWritten by Obai Al-Alloush. \nImages by Radwa Askar. © Asafeer Education Technologies FZ LLC, 2018. When Uncle Carl gets into the car and hold the steering wheel tight \nYou feel like he came from a movie that’s black and white. \nOne day Ken heard the mechanic Mark \nSaying that the car goes on by a miracle He doesn’t know where the combustion lights get electricity from And the oil box is rusty and so is the water cooler . \nHis car reminds me of the first car invented before in France, \nIt had a steam engine and three wheels, what an incredible thing \nThen came the German Mr. Benz. with a car that works with fuel \nHis invention was a revolution of course. \nOne of the big companies wanted to buy the antique car \nBut the reply was a big “no” from Uncle Carl He refused all the money they gave at the end, And he angrily said,“how can I sell a friend” \nBut I’m afraid, Uncle Carl might sell his car now Because of a financial crisis so","cbCairEBgOyvGjAm","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCairEBgOyvGjAm","pdf",538317,17,"English","en",105,"# Story Overview\n## Ken’s School-Day
