Directors acknowledged the consistency of the CPF with the IBRD graduation policy and recognized the efforts made to improve the country’s access to financial markets on reasonable terms, as well as to strengthen institutions.  \nDirectors supported the gradual approach of macroeconomic adjustments being successfully pursued so far. They encouraged the government to further implement structural reforms to maintain the growth performance, address income inequality, including the specific needs of refugees and vulnerable groups, and enhance resilience to address risks posed by climate change and the country’s high exposure to earthquakes.  \nDirectors encouraged the Bank to leverage further private sector capital for the country welcoming operationalization of the One WBG approach. They encouraged closer coordination with other development partners, particularly in accelerating its green transformation, addressing fossil fuel subsidies, and achieving its goals of decarbonizing the power sector. Directors supported continued regulatory and institutional reforms with a focus on further improving the country’s business environment and increasing female labor force participation.  \nDirectors stressed the need for a strong implementation of the portfolio, with a focus on enhancing operational effectiveness. They inquired about how the WBG will employ a diverse and innovative range of financial instruments to support an upper middle-income client such as Türkiye, particularly in promoting its sustainable growth and development.
