thoroughly to understand its mech-anism.The book is written on a practical basis and no attempt hasbeen made to introduce the theoretical side.  \nAlthough,the book is comprehensive in its instruction regardingmajor overhauls,we strongly advise the uninitiated to entrust suchwork as the repair of engines,telescopic forks and gearboxes,to a recognised Triumph Dealer who will have the necessaryfacilities and special workshop tools available.Remember that thepurchase of special tools can be very expensive when only requiredfor limited use.  \nEach section of the book is headed by a general description.It is thenfollowed by a complete account of the dismantling,inspection andre-assembly of units and final assembly.This has been compiled in themost simple form to obviate any difficulties on the part of the op-erator,who may be a newcomer to motorcycling or not fully con-versant with repair procedure.Each chapter deals with a specificoperation (i.e.Dismantling the Engine)which is then broken downinto sub-paragraphs.The sequence in which they are broken downis the correct dismantling and assembly procedure.To avoid con-fusing the operator during this procedure,the sub-assemblies(i.e.Cylinder Head or Crankshaft Assembly)are dealt with as separateunits under the heading \"Dismantling,Preparation and Assemblyof Units\".  \nThe book is well illustrated with exploded and assembled illustrationsof the main units,which will give the operator a comprehensive viewof the internal parts before commencing an operation and will alsoassist during assembly.  \n.Finally,remember that if the essential adjustments are neglected andonly casual attention is paid to the lubrication and periodical main-tenance,reliability will be affected and in time
