Chapter\n\nMay the God ofhope fllyou tuithalljoy andpeace in believing,so that by the power of theHoly Spirit you may abound in hope.Romans 15:13 \nEverywhere we look, change is one of life's very few constants. It's probable that,as you read these words, you're beginning anew chapter in your life.Or,at least, you're on a new page. \nSome changes are significant and welcome: \n·A new job or career \n·Graduation from high school, college, trade school,or a graduate program \n·The birth or adoption of a child or grandchild \n·A new home \nSome changes are significant and maybe not so welcome: \n·The loss of a job \n·Divorce \n·A death in the family \n·A transfer to a place you'd rather not live \n·The loss of a home to fire or storm \nSome changes are significant and welcome or unwelcome, depending on the circumstances: \n## ·Retirement\n\n·A new boss \n·An empty nest \nTransitions require that we move from one situation or \ncondition to another, that we let go of the old and adapt to thenew. Some transitions come suddenly and unexpectedly.Othersroll out predictably and without surprise. Some changes arecataclysmic.Others, much less weighty. But alltransitions, eventhe positive ones, even the less weighty ones, challenge us. \nChange brings with it a cascade of emotions:grief,excitement,confusion,joy,and-often-all of the above!A change youconsider unnecessary and unwelcome might make someoneelse's heart race with delight. Most of the time, though, changestirs up some level of anxiety because change leads us into anunknown future. \nWhile you don't know what the future holds as you \ntransition into new situations, you do have God's promisesto accompany you as you move forward. Those promiseschange everything! And they belong to you-to you \npersonally-by faith in what Jesus did for you at the crossand in his empty tomb. \nSomeone has said,“The future isn't what it used to be.”So true!Especially since Christ leads you and lives in you!Pause for a moment to read and consider the Scripturepromises that close out this chapter. As you do so,let thehope and confidence Jesus gives replace your fearsand anxiety. \nWhatever the transition you are making, whatever the changesyou face,Immanuel (God with us)is with you.You have hisWord on it. \nRead and consider hescriptureed. \n~7~ \nBe strong and courageous.Do not be frightened, and do notbe dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you whereveryou go. \nJoshua 1:9 \nThe Lord is at hand;do not be anxious about anything, butin everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgivinglet your requests be made known to God.And the peaceof God,which surpasses all understanding, will guard yourhearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. \nPhilippians 4:5-7 \n\"Behold,the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,and theyshall call his name Immanuel”(which means,God with us). \nMatthew 1:23","cbCaiemqRdFX4Gmg","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiemqRdFX4Gmg","pdf",3335918,68,"English","# A New Chapter\n##
