The confidence from coaching, and the teamwork skills that I now use have really helped me in a variety of employment settings. Being able to complete coursework at my own pace and not have to worry about exams was also a benefit for me – Iwork better like this, so it really helped me to achieve.  \nIt was not just the knowledge that I gained studying BTECs at a variety of levels, but also the employability skills that have really helped me in the workplace.”  \nWhat top 3 skills did you gain from your BTEC?  \n Teamwork  \n Communication  \n Confidence  \nWhat was your HN experience like?  \nMy time studying my BTECs, and particularly the HND, were some of the best times of my life!  \nI appreciated that the group sizes were smaller than they would have been at University, which was good for me having been at a small school previously. I was also comfortable with the lecturers as I knew them from my Level 3 course. The support and feedback I received from my lecturers felt personal and specific to my needs. The subjects we covered were varied, which kept me interested and helped me to make my choices as I progressed through my education . Since then, I have worked in a variety of roles, and am currently working as a Hot Materials Laboratory Manager.
