An example of one of these laws is that everybody must drive as far to the right on the road as is possible. But while overtaking, it’s not possible to drive on the right side on the road. For these situations sub-rules are made. These rules can be found in the official regulations of traffic rules and signs. Of course there are some exceptions such as a tram, which cannot drive on the right side on the road. \nThe advantage of knowing the main rules is that when you know these basics, you can apply them to every situation. For example after overtaking another car, you know you have to move back to the right-hand site of the lane. When you know the main rules, this is something you can come up with yourself. \nThis brings us back to the goal of this book: Learning to bea safe driver! Not simply teaching you all the rules. Stopping for a cyclist at a junction who has right of way, is something you do when you know the rules. When a safe road user would already have seen the cyclist, slowed down ahead and let the cyclist pass the junction before they arrived so they won’t have to stop. This is an important difference. \nThis book will look at sub rules and exceptions to the rules, but a lot will be left to your own insights. Extra attention will be paid to the routine of driving a car, from the moment you get in to every single situation on the road. \nThis book is not just for starting drivers who have to pass their theory-exam, but also for the more experienced driver who wants to refresh their memory. It’s also suitable as a reference book in unclear traffic situations. As you will see, we have used lots of pictures. Because of this, this book is also suitable for people with d","cbCaibyYVqkW2r8Y","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaibyYVqkW2r8Y","pdf",23041932,47,"English","# Introduction\n## Driving a car and fear\n## The basics of driving a car\n## Controlling a vehicle\n## General safety and safety terms\n## Safety rules by importance\n## Speed and speed limits\n## Junctions and priority rules\n## Special manoeuvres\n## Overtaking and being stationary parking\n## Truck roads and motorways\n## Lights\n## General attention points\n## Road markings and pedestrian crossings\n## Bus stops, tunnel, seatbelts, loads\n## Dike roads and aquaplaning\n## Danger of skidding\n## Environmental aspects\n## Crimes\n## The Dutch traffic signs","[{\"question\":\"What is the main goal of the book?\",\"answer\":\"To help readers learn how to be a safe driver by learning main Dutch traffic rules, then applying sub-rules, exceptions, and driving routines to real traffic situations.\"},{\"question\":\"Why does the book focus on fear when entering a car?\",\"answer\":\"It explains that fear can cause people to look down, leading to incoherent steering and reduced attention to other traffic, so readers must overcome fear to drive safely.\"},{\"question\":\"How should a driver handle overtaking according to the rules described?\",\"answer\":\"The book notes that when overtaking makes right-side driving impossible, sub-rules apply, and after overtaking you should move back to the right-hand side of the lane when you know the main rules.\"}]","The Theory of Driving a Car - EveryThing You Should Know To Be a Safe Road User | PDF",118]
