For example, when a person is vomiting and purging he probably has oneof the diseases caused by bad water. In children in particular, diseases caused by bad water can lead to severe weight loss, retarded growth and even death. Even when the child does not die, it costs a lot to treat these diseases.  \nIntroduction   \nIl a été découvert que très souvent, les maux deventre sont causés par l’eau qu’on boit. Par exemple, lorsque quelqu’un vomit et qu’il a la diarrhée, il souffre probablement d’une des maladies causées par l’eau sale. Chez l’enfant en particulier, les maladies liées à l’eau sale peuvent entra􀀥̂ner une perte de poids considérable, un retard de croissance et parfois la mort. Même lorsque l’enfant ne meurt pas, il fautdépenser beaucoup d’argent pour soigner ces maladies.  \nHow does water become bad for drinking?  \nFresh water coming out of the ground is usually clean enough for drinking. Water from the tap is generally also good for drinking because it is usually treated by adding chemicals or by filtering. In spite of this, much of our good drinking water gets bad by the time we drink it because:  \n1. Run off water washes all kinds of dirt into our springs, wells and reservoirs.  \n2.
