myjoy.I married their father young,at the tender age ofnineteen.I wish I could say our lives were like some fairytalethat played out to a happily ever after ending.Unfortunately,this is Reality and things don't typically end the way they do inthe movies.  \nBy the time my youngest son turned one our marriage was overNot in the legal sense but in the literal sense.We’d both grownout of love with one another.But I wanted to maintain the linesof communication so that he could always have a healthyrelationship with our sons.Instead decisions were made thatcaused years of resentment.  \nThat was never the way I envisioned raising my children.  \nFatherless,missing a piece of themselves and always wonderingwhy?  \nWhen my first born was three he had an interest in almost everyball you put before him.He really took to the basketball though.So,I bought him an age appropriate basketball court and we  \nplayed all the time.Then I noticed that he could dribble a realbasketball.I mean,he was good at it too!I decided to take himto the parkjust to see how far he could throw it.Believe it or nothe could get the ball to the rim.  \nBeing as though he was my baby,I bragged to any and everyone that would listen.I couldn't believe it was possible for a3year old to have that much upper body strength.As time wenton,I continued to play with him at the park.By this time,hisbrother who is 2.5years younger than him,was able to join in.Now I have a three and 5year old.It's amazing how quicklychildren learn and then learn from one another.  \nMy divorce from their father would be finalized in the year 1999and I'd met a man that was more than happy to step in and pickup the slack.He truly was afather to them and showed themunconditional love.I will forever respect him.  \nLife would still turn out to be rough for my little ones,especiallyTemple,My oldest son.He remembered having his dad around.And the sudden absence of him began to change him.He lackedthe happiness a child should have.I no longer saw joy in hislittleface.It broke my heart.And soon my relationship with thatgood man would end too.Causing the only father myyoungest,  \nEdward,had ever known to be absent
