Dr. Alan Tita  \nOur Feature Presentations  \nPostpartum HPV Vaccination: Acceptability, Uptake and Immunogenicity.  \nPI: Haller Smith  \nContact: Nancy Saxon ([nbsaxon@uabmc.edu](nbsaxon@uabmc.edu))  \nPrimary outcome: rates of vaccination uptake in postpartum patients across the racial/ethnic groups. This project is a single center exploratory study of postpartum patients who received their prenatal care at the UAB/ JCDH Clinics. Patients are enrolled during their postpartum hospital stay, and undergo a survey, then vaccination and blood collection. Second and third vaccinations occur at 6-8 weeks postpartum and 6 months postpartum, and a final study visit occurs at 7 months postpartum where blood and survey data are collected.  \nPREMOD2:  \nPI: Akila Subramaniam  \nContact: Nancy Saxon ([nbsaxon@uabmc.edu](nbsaxon@uabmc.edu))  \nPremod2 is a prospective multi=national randomized controlled  \ntrial (RCT) being conducted to compare the incidence of long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes at 24 months in premature infants born between 30.0-32.6. Patients are randomized at time of delivery to delayed cord clamping or cord milking. Sample size is 1200 patients across all sites-600 delayed cord clamping/ 600milking. Since recruitment start in April, UAB has enrolled 10 participants.  \nSLEEP study updates:  \nSnore questions no longer required for SLEEP screening, but please help promote MFMU SLEEP study screening to your nulliparous patients who have a BMI >30 . Eligible participants 14.0 to 21.5 are asked to wear a home sleep apnea monitor for one night’s sleep to determine if they have an obstructive sleep disorder. Those identified with a mild to moderate sleep disorder may be eligible for the randomized trial.  \nTOPS & Prospect (short cervix) study updates:  \nOB providers please remember to educate your patients about transvaginal CL screening prior to their anatomy scan appointment. Please remind patients that CL screening will occur at their anatomy scan visit. Cervical Length Information sheets have been provided to health departments to be included in their new OB packets. The cervical length screening handout is also available through the patient education portal in IMPACT. Under patient education, select custom tab and you will find MFM cervical length screening (English & Spanish) . This may be printed with patient’s depart summary.  \nSpecial recognition goes out to Katrese Smith and the MFM team for supporting research projects.  In addition to taking excellent care of her patients, Katrese is always willing to go the extra mile for research.
