Jesus asked them for something to eat and they gave him a piece of broiled fish. He took it and ate it in front of them.  \nHowever, Thomas was not there with them at that time. Later, when they told him that they had seen the Lord, Thomas replied,“I will not believe what you say unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my hand into his side.”  \nEight days later, his disciples were again inside the house, and this time Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them, and he said to them all,“May God give you peace.”  \nThen he said to Thomas,“Put your finger here and see my hands, and put out your hand and place it in my side. Stop doubting and put your trust in me.” Thomas answered him,“My Lord and my God!”  \nJesus said to him,“Now you believe that I have risen because you see me. Yet God gives great happiness to those who have not seen me and still believe.”  \nLater the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
