submissions were thoughtful,artful,and showed that the artist or writer had put a great deal oftheir time into their pieces.I was also stunned by how manypieces were sent in by professors on behalf of their  \nstudents.It showed how proud Anoka Ramsey faculty are oftheir students and what their students create.  \nThe Rapids Review works to showcase the creativity andartistic talents of Anoka Ramsey students.Throughout mytime as a student at Anoka Ramsey,I have gotten to knowmany of the kindest most hardworking people I have nevermet.People of all ages and backgrounds come together atARCC to create a healthy and effective environment forpersonal growth and creation.I am proud to share thisjournal because it shows the hard work ARCC students putinto everything they do.While students are busy withschool,jobs,and their families,they still take the time toshare their art with the world.  \nThe Rapids Review is especially important in the face ofCOVID-19.Many students are struggling,and uncertainty is  \neverywhere.The editors of the Rapids Review want to makesure students get the recognition they deserve despitethese circumstances.We have included a wide variety ofpoetry,prose,and
