Large crowds of people came to hear him teach about God and to see him heal the sick. Jesus taught the people using parables.  \nThis book contains one of the parables of Jesus.  \nJesus told this parable:  \n“There was once a man who had two sons. The younger one said to him,‘Father, give me my share of the property now.’ So the man divided his property between his two sons.  \nLukas 15:11b-12  \nAfter a few days the younger son sold his part of the property and left home with the money.  \nLuke 15:13a  \nHe went to a country far away, where he wasted his money in reckless living.  \nLuke 15:13b  \nHe spent everything he had.
