They had two sons, Peter and John.  \nWhile their parents would go out to sea to fish, John and Peter would keep the house. They would also cook dinner from the ingredients that their mother had prepared in advance.  \nOne day the mother told Peter and John,“In this basket are grains of magical rice. Take a quarter cup and cook it. Do not cook more than that!”  \n“Okay, Mom,” they replied.  \nAfter lunch Peter said to his brother,“I will light a fire in the stove and prepare the pot to cook our rice. \" Meanwhile Peter went to the basket of magic rice to measure it.  \nApparently Peter took more than the size their mother had told them to cook. When John saw what he was doing, he immediately scolded his brother. But Peter kept his position and they started to fight.  \nFinally John relented, and allowed Peter to cook the rice. Moments later the amount of rice in the pot started to grow and began to spill out of the pot.  \nPeter and John immediately tried to stop the rice, but their efforts were in vain. The amount of rice kept on growing and spilling out of the pot.
