Published in 2015 under a copyright that permits commercial use, adaptation, and augmentation, the story is set in the village of Kisaku. It narrates the tale of Apwuoyo, a lazy and notoriously noisy hare with a penchant for stealing from his neighbors, specifically their carrots and sweet potatoes. For several days, Apwuoyo successfully evaded detection, creeping into his neighbors' shamba (farm) each night to pilfer their produce. However, his thievery came to an abrupt end when, on his third attempt, he stumbled into a cleverly disguised animal trap. Initially intrigued, Apwuoyo tentatively touched the trap with his left hand, only to become ensnared. His subsequent attempts to free himself with both legs also proved futile, leaving him stuck. Othimu, the vigilant owner of the shamba, later discovered Apwuoyo trapped, fulfilling the age-old proverb, \"A thief's days are numbered,\" as Apwuoyo finally faced the consequences of his dishonest character. The story concludes with the moral that dishonesty inevitably leads to repercussions.","The Noisy Hare \nWriter: Cynthia Akinyi \nIllustration: Salim Kasamba and Melany Pietersen \nEnglish Story Book \nThe Noisy Hare \nWriter: CYNTHIA AKINYI Illustration: Salim Kasamba and Melany Pietersen \nEnglish \nTHE NOISY HARE \nWriter: CYNTHIA AKINYI \nIllustration: Salim Kasamba and Melany Pietersen \nCopyright © 2015, Cynthia Akinyi \nYou are free to make commercial use of this work. He was very lazy and ever stole his neighbor's carrots and sweet potatoes . He did this for several days without being caught by the owner . \nEver night, Apwuoyo would creep and walk slowly to his neighbor shamba anad steal the carrots. Unluckily the third time when he went he got a trap resembling an animal. He moved closer to it and tried to touch with his lefthand. \nApwuoyo was surprised to find himself stuck on the trap. So he tried with his two legs and were stuck too. After sometime Othimu who was the owner of the shamba came to supervise his shamba, and was amazed to find his neighbor stuck on the trap he had set. \nAs it was said by the wiseman,\"A thieves days are numbered\". It reached forty days for Apwouyo and had to pay for his bad character. That's the end of my story.","cbCaikNPiMlzbZYl","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaikNPiMlzbZYl","pdf",9548156,10,"English","en",105,"# The Noisy Hare\n## Writer: Cynthia Akinyi\n## Illustration: Salim Kasamba and Melany Pietersen\n## Copyright Information\n## Story","[{\"question\":\"Who are the writer and illustrators of \\\"The Noisy Hare\\\"?\",\"answer\":\"The writer of \\\"The Noisy Hare\\\" is Cynthia Akinyi, and the illustrators are Salim Kasamba and Melany Pietersen.\"},{\"question\":\"What is the main character's name and defining characteristic?\",\"answer\":\"The main character is a hare named Apwuoyo, who is known for being very noisy and lazy.\"},{\"question\":\"What crime does Apwuoyo commit, and what are the consequences?\",\"answer\":\"Apwuoyo frequently steals carrots and sweet potatoes from his neighbors.
