It also helps children to understand the meaning of the word ‘multiple’. \nAge Range: 3rd Grade+ \nNumber of players: 2 \nLearning: Multiplication tables to 12, strategy and logical thinking You will need \n- Each player will need 10 counters of their own color. \n- A piece of paper to keep score; \n- A multiplication square to check answers (or for support); \n- 2 dice. \nInstructions \n• Each player rolls two dice and adds up the digits. The player can then cover up any multiple of the number that is rolled. E.g. if a 2 and a 5 are rolled, then any multiple of 7 can be covered up. \n• The multiples can be checked using a multiplication square (see Appendix 3) . \n• Each time a player manages to make a row of 3 counters, then the player scores 10 points. \n• If a player cannot go, or gets an answer wrong, then play passes to the next player. \n• The first player to finish placing all their counters scores 20 points, and the game ends. \n• The winner is the player with the highest score. \nVariations \n• No scoring game. The first player to get four counters in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) wins the game. \n• No scoring game. Each time a player makes a line of 3 counters, then that player can remove any counter belonging to their opponent from the board (and return it to their opponent) . The first player to finish placing all their counters on the board is the winner. \n• Play the game with a ten sided dice uses tables up to ten times. \n• Only allow a player to cover up a number which is up to twelve times the number on the dice. This makes the game easier to play using the multiplication square. \nCOVER UP ANY MULTIPLE OF THE NUMBER YOU ROLL ON A DICE. \n\n| 60 | 14 | 27 | 16 | 50 | 32 |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 25 | 28 | 80 | 21 | 42 | 54 |\n| 49 | 90 | 24 | 63 | 36 | 72 |\n| 64 | 18 | 56 | 100 | 15 | 77 |\n| 30 | 55 | 81 | 20 | 33 | 110 |\n| 66 | 121 | 108 | 99 | 120 | 12 |\n\nREMEMBER – YOU CAN COVER UP ANY MULTIPLE OF THE NUMBERS YOU ROLL!","cbCaifqADXBGJlRN","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaifqADXBGJlRN","pdf",189465,"English","# Game Overview\n# Age and Number of Players\n# Learning Goals\n# Materials Needed\n# Instructions\n# Scoring Rules\n# Variations\n# Quick Reminders","[{\"question\":\"How do players choose which numbers to cover during the game?\",\"answer\":\"Players roll two dice and add the digits.
