Prestoza June Anne Nathalie G. Villanueva \nMonday morning comes . People are noisy in the yard of a lady named Sitang. The village people were constantly talking and shouting for Sitang to open the door for them to enter her yard. This is always the everyday event in Sitang’s yard. \nSitang and I live next door, just two houses apart from our home is her yard. Everyday, there are people lining up in front of their house, carrying their bags made of woven coconut leaves, which my mother also uses when shopping in our town . \n”[Sitang...Sitang](Sitang...Sitang .. open)[ ..](Sitang...Sitang .. open)[ open](Sitang...Sitang .. open) up for us .. so we can enter your magical backyard...” requested by Mando who was a farmer. Sitang looked out the window. \n”Open the bamboo so you can enter my yard”was Sitang’s response. \nMando opened it so that they could finally enter, while they were walking I seemed to notice something strange on the faces of my fellow townsfolk, the smiles that I could see on their lips that seemed to shine with eagerness and joy could not be explained. \nI was very surprised by what I was seeing, and all of a sudden, Mom reminded me to get my food before going to school. \n5 \n”Oh... Ana take your food from the table, it’s ready, you’ll definitely be excited because I took it from Sitang’s magical yard” is what Mom always instructed me . I immediately took it and kissed mom on the cheek and walked into the school. \nMom always cooks me a snack before going to school, and at snack time I would wonder what’s in Sitang’s yard that they always call it magical. \nWhen I come home from school, I pass by Sitang’s house and always, at that time I see that Sitang’s yard is closed, so I can’t even geta glimpse of what magic is hidden in her yard. \nWhile I was writing my homework on our balcony, I saw Sitang, passing by our yard,”Good afternoon!” I greeted.","cbCaim0UX4vVAwZ5","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaim0UX4vVAwZ5","pdf",4244312,"English","# The Magical Garden\n## The Morning Gathering at Sitang's Yard\n## Ana's Perspective on the Magical Garden","[{\"question\":\"What makes Sitang's yard so special to the villagers?\",\"answer\":\"The villagers refer to it as a 'magical' garden and regularly line up to enter, carrying woven coconut leaf bags, presumably to collect produce or goods from it.\"},{\"question\":\"Who is the narrator of this story?\",\"answer\":\"The narrator is a young girl named Ana who observes the activity at Sitang's house while preparing for school.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the narrator's mother participate in the garden's offerings?\",\"answer\":\"Ana's mother cooks snacks for her using ingredients sourced from Sitang's magical yard, which the narrator brings with her to school every day.\"}]","The Magical Garden - A Short Story | PDF",29]
