The solitude and natural beauty intensify as she reflects on whether art and city life are truly enough. Suspicion grows when strange sounds come and go during her solo kayaking, echoing recent storms and the risk of nature. The opening sets an eerie, suspenseful tone across the prologue and subsequent chapters.","ȋe Lost ofLake Hotel \nAmanda Siri Hill \nAmanda Siri Hill \n[OceanofPDF.com](OceanofPDF.com) \nCopyright © 2025 by Amanda Siri Hill All rights reserved. \nNo part of this publication may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods, without the prior written permission of the publisher, except as permitted by U.S. copyright law. A stunning capsule of the 1920’s, its charming, canary yellow exterior exuded colonial finery. White trim and wraparound porches accentuated the gables and dormers, whispering of a time long past. \nThe hotel looked over a serene lake with a smaller crowd than the bustling Old Faithful Inn, and Lilly preferred it this way. She couldn’t believe she’d never come before, it was an artist’s dream. How many breathtaking places had she missed because she never took the time to get out? \nThe air was so clean and crisp it reminded her of fresh snow, even though it was hot outside. The late summer evening was perfect for kayaking on the lake and the water was as smooth as glass. All around her the mountains rose like sentinels, ready to keep her safe. \nMary said she shouldn’t go out on the lake alone, but she worried too much. This was exactly what Lilly needed. \nYellowstone Lake was the coldest mountain lake in the Western Hemisphere, not something anyone should swim in, but kayaking was fine. \nShe was alone without another body in sight, and she couldn’t remember the last time she’d been so isolated. Living in a city she could hardly imagine such luxury. \nChills pricked ","cbCaihcFx8R6kmsJ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaihcFx8R6kmsJ","pdf",2340121,329,"English","en",105,"# Prologue\n# Chapter One\n#
