They traveled for three days, but they did not find any water to drink.  \nThen they found water at a place called Marah. But the water was too bitter to drink.  \nThe people complained to Moses, demanding,“We need water to drink!”  \nSo Moses prayed earnestly to the Lord for help.  \nThen the Lord showed Moses a tree branch.
