BRITTON AVENUE SUNNYVALE, CA 94085-3841 \nP: 408.481.9900 WWW.TKA.ORG \nAccredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) \n2026-2027 APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTERNATIONAL STUDENT \nA BIT OF HISTORY \nIn August 1990, six families with seventh-grade girls hired a teacher to help provide the typeof education they felt would best honor God. They did not want to have to choose between a school with an excellent academic record and one that nurtured a Christ-like attitude. The families were convinced that God was leading them to pioneer an educational setting that would encapsulate all they envisioned. The following year, the school grew to 28 students, three teachers were hired, and The King’s Academy began. Because academy implied strong learning and to signify that the school belongs to The King, Jesus Christ, the school was named “The King’s Academy.” \nTHE SCHOOL TODAY \nOver the last 35 years, The King’s Academy has grown to over 1250 students in grades K-12, reflecting the cultural and economic diversity of the Bay Area. The overarching purpose of The King’s Academy has notchanged:to transform lives through Christ-centered education. TKA has retained the warm, family atmosphere and small class size where students receive personal attention. TKA offers a challenging college preparatory program, a spiritual life program that fostersa mentor relationship between teacher and student, a well-known visual and performing arts department, and competitive athletic teams with a myriad of league and division titles. \nWHO WE ARE, OUR MISSION, AND OUR VISION \nWho We Are: The King’s Academy is an independent, college preparatory school for grades K-12 which exists to honor and glorify our King Jesus Christ. \nMission: The King’s Academy is a Christ-centered school that inspires academic excellence, servant leadership, and enduring relationships. \nVision: Graduates of The King’s Academy are transformed by Christ, live a life that honors God, and use their gifts to influence the world for Him. \nTHE VALUE OF BIBLICAL DIVERSITY AT TKA \nThe King’s Academy, as a Christ-centered school, is determined to follow the teachings and example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is called to be loving to all we interact with each and every day, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation. Believing that God has created all people in His image, The King’s Academy values and cultivates racial, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity on campus. We recognize all persons are uniquely created by God and are given specific gifts and abilities which foster a well-rounded learning environment. We denounce the sin of racism, and we desire to create a community where students and staff from all racial and ethnic backgrounds feel welcomed and accepted. – Psalm 139:14, Genesis 1:27, Galatians 3:28, and Acts 10:34-35 \nACADEMICS \nThe King’s Academy offers a variety of academic curricula including 9 honors coursesand 20 AP courses. With counselor assistance, students are encouraged to choose the curriculum that best suits their interests and goals. Teachers employ a variety of instructional strategies that promote active learning. With TKA’s 1:1 technology program, students bring their own device and use applications that enrich learning and engagement. Caring and passionate teachers create a positive and encouraging learning environment at all grade levels \n2026-2027 INTERNATIONAL TUITION AND APPLICATION PROCESS \nTHE KING’S ACADEMY \nANNUAL FEES \nAnnual Application Fee (Due with online application) .................................................................. $155 Enrollment Fee (Due with enrollment packet) ............................................","cbCaibESbDWEjE5z","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaibESbDWEjE5z","pdf",749904,"English","# 2026-2027 School Introduction\n## Admissions Contacts\n## Accreditation and Overview\n# 2026-2027 International Student Application\n## A Bit of History\n## The School Today\n# Who We Are, Our Mission, and Our Vision\n## Who We Are\n## Mission\n## Vision\n# The Value of Biblical Diversity at TKA\n# Academics\n## Curriculum Options\n## Technology 1:1 Program\n# 2026-2027 International Tuition and Application Process\n## Annual Fees\n## Admissions Testing\n## Interview\n## Final Acceptance","[{\"question\":\"What are the key annual fees for the 2026-2027 international student application?\",\"answer\":\"The annual fees include an Application Fee of $155, an Enrollment Fee of $180, and a Tuition Deposit due on March 15 (or 10 days after billing) of $1,000.
