to 1965 all rose names registered or found cataloguedwere added but very few were eliminated.Many names usedprior to 1900 could have been added,but were omitted for lackof any evidence that either(1)cultivars identifiable with thosenames,or(2)cultivars important in lineage records andbearing those names,were known to be currently in existence.Anyone having information of other cultivar
