The research validates detective flow imaging (DFI), shear wave elastography (SWE), and related ultrasound techniques. Methods compare new EUS scopes (EG-740 UT, G-580UR) with ARIETTA 850, applying diagnostic procedures to 16 cases and interventional procedures to eight cases. We aimed to validate the efficiency of detective flow imaging (DFI), shear wave elastography (SWE), and other advanced imaging techniques. \nMethods: We used new EUS scopes (EG-740 UT and G-580UR) and the latest ultrasound equipment (ARIETTA 850) (Fujifilm Healthcare, Kanagawa, Japan) . Diagnostic procedures were performed in 16 cases, including pancreatic cancer and intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms, and therapeutic procedures in eight cases, involving complex biliary and pancreatic interventions. The utility of SWE in assessing tissue stiffness was quantified by measuring the shear wave velocity (SWV) in pancreatic cancer and autoimmune pancreatitis. \nResults: We found no significant difference in SWVs among different pancreatic conditions; however, significant variations were observed in the net percentage of effective SWV. Interventional EUS had a 100% technical and clinical success rate, demonstrating the efficacy of new imaging techniques and equipment in enhancing procedural safety and diagnostic accuracy. \nConclusions: The integration of advancedEUS imaging technologies, particularly DFI, contrast-enhanced EUS, and SWE, significantly enhances the diagnosis and treatment of pancreaticobiliary diseases. \nKEYWORDS \nautoimmune pancreatitis, detective flow imaging, endoscopic ultrasonography, pancreatic cancer, shear wave elastography \nThis is an open access article under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License, which permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited and is not used for commercial purposes. \n© 2025 The Author(s). Using sophisticated ultrasound equipment (ARIETTA 850; Fujifilm Healthcare, Tokyo, Japan), shear wave elastography (SWE), a method to evaluate tissue hardness, and detective flow imaging (DFI), a new imaging technology that displays low-velocity blood flow precisely, has become possible. We have previously described the usefulness of this new technology using SWE with transabdominal ultrasound for chronic pancreatitis.5 \nIn recent years, interventional EUS (i-EUS) has been widely used to visualize biliary, pancreatic duct, and pancreatic fluid collectio","cbCaiayibouEsrvZ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiayibouEsrvZ","pdf",963188,"English","# Abstract\n# Introduction\n# Methods\n## Study design and equipment","[{\"question\":\"What diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities does the study evaluate?\",\"answer\":\"The study evaluates EUS capabilities for diagnosing and treating pancreatobiliary diseases, focusing on advanced imaging techniques including DFI and SWE.\"},{\"question\":\"Which equipment and EUS scopes are used in the methods?\",\"answer\":\"New EUS scopes (EG-740 UT and G-580UR) and the latest ultrasound equipment ARIETTA 850 are used for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.\"},{\"question\":\"What are the key findings related to SWE measurements and procedural success?\",\"answer\":\"SWV shows no significant differences among pancreatic conditions, while the net percentage of effective SWV varies.
