La investigación busca comparar la adquisición de vocabulario entre los alumnos que utilizan Duolingo y aquellos que no lo hacen, proporcionando información sobre su impacto en el desarrollo del lenguaje. Además, elestudio explora las percepciones de los estudiantes sobre la aplicación como herramienta para mejorar sus habilidades de vocabulario. Al emplear un enfoque de métodos mixtos, el estudio recopila datos cuantitativos a través de evaluaciones de vocabulario y retroalimentación cualitativa mediante una encuesta. Los resultados indican un efecto positivo significativo de Duolingo en la adquisición de vocabulario, con estudiantes que demuestran niveles más altos de competencia en comparación con los usuarios que noutilizan la aplicación.
