It felt almost as if he already knew each and every day of my existence, and asking the question was just a formality.  \nWhen the man walked into my office behind my assistant, Grace introduced him as Mr. Morris. I could tell the man had class, and his suit alone perhaps cost more than some people’s monthly mortgage. When I threw in the manicured nails and the neatly trimmed beard, I could tell that he was a man who took care of himself. He wasn’t exactly ripped, but for a man in his early fifties, he certainly did look to be in great shape, someone who obviously worked out regularly and avoided the dessert bar as best he could.  \n“Please call me Walter,” the man said with that same smile when I asked him to sit after thanking Grace. He set his briefcase down  \nbeside the chair.  \n“Can I offer you a coffee or some water?” I asked, and when he waved a hand to decline the offer, I went back to my seat.  \n“I’m sorry for dropping in unannounced like this, Mr. Carter, but the matter I need your help with is somewhat time-sensitive.”  \n“Call me Ben, please, and why don’t you tell me how I can help you?”  \nI don’t know whether it was confidence, perhaps arrogance, or maybe even a mixture of both, but the way the man held his emotions in perfect balance was how I believed he projected a kind of calmness.
