Only established in recent years, the founders self proclaim their hamlet the “Eleventh” town of Icewind Dale. Though significantly isolated from Ten-Towns, Rockmount is a self reliant and promising hamlet, with townsfolk surviving by the unusually fortunate cluster of natural resources found in the mountainside and nearby forest.  \nBut terror stalks Rockmount. Kidnapping and murder plague the small hamlet. Victims found displayed like works of macabre art by‘the sanguine artist’. Children vanish in the night. Paranoia and fear strangle the people as neighbour turns against neighbour.  \nThis adventure is designed for a party of four to six at 3rd level. But just before the surviving members of the hapless expedition surrendered to despair, they found a rich coal deposit and veins of iron ore at the base of a mountain along the Spine of the World. Elated, they founded Rockmount and began the hard task of finding those desperate enough to make the dangerous trip to work in the mines of this isolated hamlet.  \nUnbeknownst to those prospectors, a stone hag by the name of Granny Adder Wortwax had heard the sounds of the miners in the coal mines and slithered her way up to the surface. Having her labyrinthian home in the Underdark disturbed by the mining of these intruders into her territory, she began working  \nher dark sorcery. She has kept her presence secret, infiltrating the newly established community and  \nweaving terror which reflects her vile and insidious  \nnature.  \nNow, a string of horrific and bone chilling murders have shaken Rockmount.
