Nulfi has reached out to the adventurers to help him find these treasured family heirlooms. \nThis adventure is for a party of three to six 1st level characters. \nThis adventure is designed as an introduction to the longer series of adventures The Grove of Cernunnos, but can be used asa standalone adventure. \nIf you are not running this adventure as part of The Grove of Cernunnos you may want to alter some character motivationsand clues to create a more satisfying complete narrative. \nAlthough there are several references to Silverymoon and the Forgotten Realms, this adventure can take place anywhere the DM decides. \nOverview \nNulfi's House of Curiosities was a common stop on the Evermoor Way for travelers for many centuries. A few decades ago a new bypass was constructed along the Evermoor Way when a local lord cut down a forest. This bypass cut Nulfi's off the new route entirely. \nWith his livelihood crumbling around him, Nulfi fell in with a dryad named Daella, a servant of Cernunnos. Daella's tree was part of the demolished woodland and was visited by Cernunnos in her dreams as she wandered the lands in the throes of grief-filled madness. Cernunnos promised her vengeance if she retrieved the Faerie Coffins from Nulfi; artifacts that could free the arch-fey Cernunnos from his prison. \nDaella was sadly unprepared for the magical defenses around Nulfi's and was captured by the gnomish proprietor. But Nulfi was equally unprepared for the dryad's innate ability to magically charm and he quickly became Daella's thrall. \nDaella has spent the last several years building an enchanted copse beneath Nulfi's. Using the magic of the Faerie Coffins, she has turned a few dozen unfortunate visitors to Nulfi's into twisted abominations of wood and flesh. The life of these halfliving prisoners is slowly siphoned away to Daella as fuel for her upcoming ritual to fully empower the Faerie Coffins and thereby break the seals on Cernunnos' prison. \nLittle Boxes \nCernunnos has caused a landslide to block the main road that avoids Nulfi's. He has done this to lead the player characters to Nulfi's as there happens to be a number of Faerie Coffins equal to the number of members of the party plus Nulfi. He has no other reason for being interested in the party, they are merely fuel for Daella's ritual. \nDaella is patiently waiting for an equal numbe","cbCaijDsRI6EvXmO","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaijDsRI6EvXmO","pdf",2373139,"English","# Credits\n# Content Warning\n# Legal\n# Adventure Setup\n# Overview\n## Little Boxes\n## The Faerie Coffins","[{\"question\":\"What has been stolen, and why do adventurers get involved?\",\"answer\":\"The Faerie Coffins have disappeared from Nulfi's House of Curiosities.
