Mr.Albert Johansen,chairman of the Anniversary Commit-tee paid respect to these honoredmembers.  \nAnniversary Booklets were printedfor the occasion giving a brief historyof the congregation from the timeof its founding on October 14,1907.They are available to any friends ofthe congregation who might be in-terested by writing the pastor.PastorHarold Jensen Kent organized thecongregation and has been succeededby nine pastors.The church recentlyassumed the pastor's full salary andnow numbers 220 baptized or 146 con-firmed members.Promises are for asteady growth in membership withthe hope that Tabor will eventuallybecome a strong and effectual churchserving downtown Salt.Lake City.  \nMiss Helen Danielson of our Colom-bia mission arrived on furlough inthe U.S.A.on Nov.9.After Jan.1she will be visiting our churches inthe interests of the mission.Whilehere her address will be 741 N.E.137th St.,N.Miami,Fla.  \n## THANKSGIVING TO CHRISTMASBIBLE READINGS SUGGESTED\n\n\"Now in 1,100 Tongues\"is thetheme for the 14th Annual World-wide Bible Reading Program sponsor-ed by the American Bible Society.The theme takes its significance fromthe fact that the Bible or portions ofthe Bible have now been translatedinto 1,100 or more languages or di-alects(1,109 at this writing).  \nThe purpose of the annual Thanks-giving to Christmas Bible ReadingProgram is to encourage more peopleto use the Bible.
