The Lord God had commanded theman,“You may eat freely of all the trees in the garden except for the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If you disobey, you will die.”  \nGod made a garden near Eden and placed Adam and his wife in it. God told them to care for this garden.  \nThe serpent was more cunning than all the other animals the Lord God had made.
