In the beginning, the Sun brings golden rays to the world, admired by people for its beauty and warmth. However, the Cloud feels envious, believing people rely more on the Sun and that it is more important. The Cloud boasts that it can change its appearance and take any desired form, unlike the Sun which has a single form. The Sun continues to shine, ignoring the Cloud's words. One day, the Sun's intense heat scorches the earth. The Cloud sees this as an opportunity. Suddenly, the sky darkens, and the Sun's light is obscured by the Cloud. The Cloud proclaims the Sun's light and warmth are gone, but the Sun suggests the Cloud is helping cool everyone down and thanks it. This only fuels the Cloud's anger. The world remains dark for three days and nights. The Sun pleads with the Cloud to let it shine again, saying many lives will be harmed without its light. The Cloud remains unheeding, gathering more clouds to increase the rain. Initially, people rejoice at the rain.","Ang Maimon nga Gal-um Vann Samrach, Anthony B. Pero ako, puwede ako mag-agtobisan diin kag mag-ilis sa bisan ano nga itsura  \nnga madumduman mo .”  \nSi Adlaw padayon lang sa pagsirak. Wara naginsapak ang mga ginpanghambal ni Gal-um .  \nPero wara lang buhay, napamara ni Adlawang kalibutan ka ana nga nagatagiti nga init!“Tam-an ka init,” kumod ni Gal-um .“Manan ko manamian gid ang katawhan kang urankadya. Tsansa ko run dya!”  \nGulpi lang naghina ang init kag nagdulumang langit.  \nNatingala ang tanan sa nagakaratabo.  \nGinlupdan ni Gal-um ang sirak ni Adlaw sakalangitan.  \n“Nadura run ang init kag kasanag mo, Adlaw!”singgit ni Gal-um .  \n“Mayad man gani ria,” hambal ni Adlaw.“Nakabulig ikaw magparamig sa tanan. Salamat gid kanimo!”  \nAbaw, nagdugang pa gid ang ugut ni Galum. Tatlo ka adlaw kag gabii nga nagpabilinnga dulum ang kalibutan. Nagpakitluoy si Adlaw kay Gal-um nga tugutan run tana nga magsirak.  \n“Maluoy ikaw, raku nga kabuhi ang masamad kun indi lagi ako makatugro kang kasanag.”  \nWara gid magpamati si Gal-um .
