The text shifts from carved ages in white stone and pine-shaded stillness to sensory details of cones, sandwiches, and garlands of memory. It blends war-borne imagery with love, desire, and wordplay, presenting Athens as a landscape where past and present, grief and play, collapse into one ongoing
