Jews. The ingenuity of our Publications Officer ensures a noveltyof presentation for which we are most grateful. \nThe theme chosen as the framework of this report may at firstbe thought to indicate a regular repetition of “work as usual”.To some extent this must always be true with any organisation, butthe following pages will indicate certain notable respects in whichthe year 1963,the 22nd year of the Council's activities, showedsigns of change. \nThere was the momentous move into our splendid new head-quarters,made available by the great generosity of one of our mostkeen and active members.Few of us could have foreseen thedifference this move has made, not only for the occasional smallconference or social function, which can now be accommodated onour own premises, but also, and importantly, for the comfort andsmooth working of our faithful and industrious staff. If readers havenot yet called at 4I Cadogan Gardens,S.W.3.,I hope that they willbe encouraged to do so. \nI963 was also the first full year for our new OrganisingSecretary,James Sexton, who has taken the place of Wallace Bell.It is most encouraging that as some of our staff and supportersinevitably drop out from time to time for various reasons, othersappear to take their place. It is vitally important in this connectionthat with an eye on the future we should recruit new members, particularly from the younger section of the community. For thisreason we can take heart from the increasing educational work ofthe Council, the growing number of youth conferences, both inthis country and abroad, and the considerable advisory work of allpinds,in relation, for instance,to controversial publications inkrint, television and radio. \nIn commending this report to your careful attention,I wouldthank you for your support and express the hope that it will con-tinue undiminished. \nC.WITTON-DAVIES,Chairman of the Executive Committee.","cbCainW4jAMT4cBt","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCainW4jAMT4cBt","pdf",1621778,32,"English","#
