Canon Derek Ingram Hill.Like his admired long-servingpredecessor,Margaret Babington,Canon Hill is a gifted historian andcommunicator.Through the Chronicle,as both editor and contributor, and through his books,he has informed and inspired countless otherfriends and lovers of 'Christ's glorious church'.He has our gratitudeand warm good wishes, and we hope to be able to enlist him amongfuture John Warner,Bishop of Rochester,is to beremoved to the sermon-house;the Consistory Court,at thewest end,and the different tombstones are also to be removedto some other part of the Cathedral;and the nave is to beentirely new paved with Portland stone-an improvement ofthis kind has been long wished for,and when completed, webelieve, for grandeur and spaciousness, this cathedral will notbe equalled by any in the kingdom. \nSo we also believe! The Gazette later reported the finding of one ort","cbCaicTYhHD1Tj1S","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaicTYhHD1Tj1S","pdf",3237970,52,"English","# Editorial\n##
