Davidson","A coming-of-age fiction introduces Ashanti Young as she navigates school life, complicated friendships, and the pull of the boys in her neighborhood known as “The Bricks.” The narrative opens with a tense moment at school when her best friend Shystee fixates on Gotti and his crew, teasing Ashanti’s feelings and intentions. As Ashanti tries to process rumors, attraction, and family stress, the story signals darker topics and warns readers to proceed with caution.","by \nA.J. There will be a 2nd part and yes, I've already started. This book is 100K so expect the same for book 2, it will drop this month as well. JAYE \n[OceanofPDF.com](OceanofPDF.com) \nA NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR \nLisssten (in Beyonce voice) \nI’ve never gone this long without dropping a book. The past year of my life had a girl by the edges, and I couldn’t push out a book to save my life. From divorce, to moving to a new home and getting the boys settled into living in two different places now was a lot. I've prayed for days I could sit back at my computer again and do what I love. This book showed me that I never lost the creativity that was in me, I just needed to unplug and focus. I know you guys fight with when it comes to books being a series, but it was a lot to unpack if I made this a lengthy standalone and I didn’t want to overwhelm you guys. Please continue to read this story and trust that book \ntwo is going to be even crazier. \nI love you guys and thank you for not counting me out. \n[OceanofPDF.com](OceanofPDF.com) \nASHANTI YOUNG \nJanuary 2017 \n“There’s Gotti.” \nI rolled my eyes at my best friend Shystee as she cooed about Gotti and his boys walking down the hallway. Shystee and I were headed to lunch, and they were walking towards the door to leave school for the day. Since they were seniors, they got that privilege. The coach won't be on their heads as long as they are back before basketball practice. I’m only a Junior, so I had to keep my ass here all damn day. \n“So! You’re saying that like I’m supposed to care.” I shrugged my shoulders before continuing to open my locker.“You are the only boy crazy one standing here, sis.” \n“Say whatever you want about me, but I couldn’t hear the hate over the train noise I started hearing when they came down the hallway.” Shystee let out a laugh that made other students in the hallways look over at her. \nMy face slowly came into a frown as I looked at her, then listened for the train noise. How in the hell does she hear a train when our school isn’t by any tracks? \n“Not only are you boy crazy, but apparently you are now delusional because what train are you hearing, boo? The only thing I hear are loud ass boys and females gawking over them.” \n“That’s because you are listening with virgin ears. I was referring to the train that I would let them run on me.
