It addresses what learners believe about God, human nature, spirits, and the future, then explains key events in Jesus’ life, death, and the significance of his death, leading to the end of the world and a life of faith. The book uses simple language, avoids difficult Bible proper nouns, and encourages listening to others before answering with Scripture.","The Book of Good News \nStacey Hare Anglais \nThe Book of Good News \nAnglais \nLocal \nCopyright © 2023, Stacey A. It is a translation and was not designed for Americans/Europeans—even though it isin English. It can be adapted for use in America and Europe, or it can be used with immigrant communities within those areas. It is most applicable to animistic, anglophone regions of Africa. \nHow to use this book: \nThis book was designed for believers to do an 8 to 12-week study with one or more individual(s) interested in knowing more about the Bible. \nUse this book with the Bible. Because it was designed for those with little to no Bible background knowledge, we recommend you use the GNT, NLT, or NIV versions of the Bible. \nUse this book with open ears. This book was designed to help you first listen to the beliefs of your hearers. This maybe difficult if hearers are saying untrue or offensive things. We encourage you to listen silently and later let the Bible address these errors. \nAdditional Information: \nWe have used simple language and have avoided proper nouns found in the Bible. Our goal was to keep the main points of each passage central, while omitting peripheral details—so as to not overwhelm the hearer. \nSeveral examples within this book are based on Ethnos360's Building on Firm Foundations by Trevor McIlwain and are used with permission (pgs. 16, 18, 21, 23, and 45) . The lesson on the Life of Christ is based on the curriculum Christianity Explained by Matthias Media. \nThis book was designed for the unreached and is not a systematic theology. \nScripture in this book is from the Good News Translation (GNT) . \nSend feedback to [stacey.hare@worldteam.org](stacey.hare@worldteam.org). \nWhat do you believe? \nEveryone has questions about God, religious matters, human nature, spirits, and what will happen in the future. \nHow about you? What do you believe? \nHave you ever gone to a church? How was it? \nWhere do you think the Earth came from? \nWhere do you think people came from? \nWhat do you think is the source of life? \nWho do you think created everything? \nDo you think there are multiple gods, or just one? \nWhat do you think God is like? \nDoes God sleep? \nDoes he drink water? \nIs he married? \nIs he good or evil? \nWhat do you think about human nature? \nAt their core, are people basically good or evil? \nWhy do you think people suffer? \nWhy do you think people die? \nWhere do you think people go when they die?","cbCaih2FH9a9L9F3","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaih2FH9a9L9F3","pdf",11209798,1,143,"English","en",105,"# Preface\n# What do you believe?\n# What is God like?\n# What are people like?\n# The life of Jesus\n# The death of Jesus\n# The significance of the death of Jesus\n# The end of the world\n# The life of faith","[{\"question\":\"Who is this book intended for and how long is the study plan?\",\"answer\":\"The book is written for Kwakum people in eastern Cameroon and can be adapted for other regions and immigrant communities.
