misunderstanding overhangearth,and again threaten men with war and probableannihilation of all men.During these uncertain times,the Holy Catholic Church calls to each and everyone to come before Our Lord and pay homage toChrist the King.If the inhabitants of the world,espe-cially the Christian Catholics,would with sincere  \nhearts and humble souls bow before Christ,the godless com-munists would have none of the power which today they possessto the extent that nations and cultures have been trampled downby them to the degree that their victims have become instrumentsof further persecution and terror.  \nThere_were those who betrayed the King Christ and chose thecriminal Barabbas.With their irreligious principles they preparedthe ground for today's tragedy.There were those Christians,thoseCatholics who lightly overlooked the ominous signs that foretoldof the dangerous pitfalls.At the very hour when the evildoerssowed cockle,they slept.Obligations and duties due to Christwere neglected by them and thus were the red barbarian mur-derers enabled to devastate Christian nations,amongst them theUkraine,and to spread with epidemic rapidity the suffering,pov-erty,and hatred which are the fruits of neglect.  \nMen fearfully ask if there is yet cause to hope that the ominousevil be averted.There is but only through Christ the King.Withbut twelve apostles,Christ converted many peoples to the rightroad.Thus it is possible for three hundred million Catholics underthe banner of Christ to conquer slavery,suspicion and evil thathave been so successfully promulgated by atheistic communism.  \nLet every Christian be wholly convinced that atheistic diplo-mats,that irreligious professors,that principleless leaders will notand can not rescue the world
