Bidders are requested to note that printing includes binding of materials. Bidders are also requested to note that packaging, includes picking and packing of materials. The distribution of learner workbooks to education districts, PED offices and DBE offices maybe made as a special request, however these special requests also form part of the contract as contemplated in paragraph 4.3.  \n3 BACKGROUND  \n3.1 Since 2011, the Department of Basic Education has been providing learner workbooks for identified subjects to learners in public schools.
