No words came out of her mouth. She stammered,”Uh... Ah... We ...”  \nMaureen hurriedly said,”We made the solar system.”  \nTheir new classmate Jisha said,”What’s the big deal? There’s nothing to make . In my old school I made electricity from potatoes,  \na periscope with mirrors, a volcano that erupted, and so much more .”  \nAlthough upset by Jisha’s words, Maureen and Nishat described their project to the audience. They didn’t win an award. However, they did get a certificate for participating.  \nThe next day Tanushi came to the class and saw Nishat and Maurin whispering and laughing. Tanushi asked,”What’s going on?”Nishat answered,”I just had a great idea, you’ll see what happens in social studies class today.”  \nNishat and Maureen always did fun things in class. Tanushi always wanted to join in on their plans, but never did because she was afraid of getting caught. Tanushi was very  \nfond of adventure . However, the most risky things she had ever done were skip gym class to read stories and fall asleep in class due to a fever . Although these weren’t adventures, she saw them as such.  \nIn social studies class, two lovebirds flew into the class. Seeing this, everyone got up and started making a lot of noise. The kids were very happy but the teacher was quite annoyed. She opened the window and after struggling a lot finally got the birds out.  \nThe teacher asked,”Where did the birds come from?”  \nThe students responded,”We don’t know. Maybe they flew in through the window.”The teacher looked at Nishat and Maureen, but she didn’t say anything.  \nAfter class Tanushi said,”If you got caught today, you would’ve been sent straight to the monster’s cave!” They called the principal’s office the monster’s cave . Once you enter that room, there’s no escape.  \nNishat replied,”Why are you always so scared? This is why we don’t include you in our plans, you’ll ruin all of them out of fear.”Having overheard their conversation, Jisha came over and said,”If you thought today’s  \nprank was funny you haven’t seen anything yet. If you want real fun, follow my lead.”Ignoring her, Nishat, Maurin, and Tanushi walked away and talked quietly amongst themselves.  \nOne day during their lunch period, Tanushi invited Jisha to eat with them. They took out some sandwiches and gave one to Jisha. She took a big bite and the other three stared at her eagerly. Suddenly Jisha’s face started turning red and she started breathing heavily.
