There is some strategy as well as multiplication fact skill required in this game! \nAge Range: 3rd Grade+ \nNumber of players: 2-3 \nLearning: Multiplication to 10x10, strategy and logical thinking You will need \n- Each player will need 15-20 counters of their own color. \n- calculator (optional) \n- 2 smaller different counters for the 0-5 grids. \nInstructions \n• The first player to start places one of the smaller counters on each of the mini 2-10 gridsat the top. The first player then multiplies the two numbers together. If the first player is correct, they may place one of their counters anywhere on the board to cover up their answer. \n• The second player now moves the mini-counters one place along the lines to two new numbers. If the second player wishes to leave a mini counter in the same position, then they can. The second player then multiplies the two numbers together. If they are correct, they may place one of their counters anywhere on the board to cover up the answer. \n• Play continues until a player manages to cover up 4 counters in a row. \n• If a player cannot go, or gets an answer wrong, then play passes to the next player. \n• The first player that covers up 4 in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) is the winner! \nVariations \n• Optional rule – a player can check another players product using a calculator. \n• Play the game for a set amount of time. Each time a player makes 3 counters in a row, they may remove one of their opponent’s counters from the board. The winner is the player with the most counters on the board at the end of the time. \n• A player must move both the mini-counters on their turn. \n| | | | | | | | | | | \u003Cbr>| 10 | | | | | | | | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| 1 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| | | | | | | | | 8 | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| | | | | 7 | | | | | | | 3 | | | 8 | | | | | |\n\n6 \n5 \n9 \n3 \n2 \n9 \n6 \n2 \n4 \n5 \n4 \n 7 \n\n| 60 | 14 | 32 | 21 | 12 | 15 |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 27 | 42 | 30 | 54 | 35 | 80 |\n| 6 | 24 | 32 | 45 | 18 | 49 |\n| 64 | 36 | 28 | 27 | 16 | 90 |\n| 48 | 20 | 56 | 25 | 72 | 8 |\n| 4 | 70 | 63 | 81 | 40 | 10 |","cbCailBdPSkmFYAz","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCailBdPSkmFYAz","pdf",196218,"English","# Instructions\n## Variations","[{\"question\":\"How does a turn work in Tables Cover Up?\",\"answer\":\"The first player multiplies the two mini-grid numbers and, if correct, places a counter to cover the answer.
