They acknowledged the alignment of the program and RECA eligibility note with the refreshed FCV strategy and how it will lay the foundations for future job creation, fiduciary management and private sector growth.  \nDirectors recognized the complex operating environment and emphasized the importance of partnerships to support government priorities, especially in the areas of security leveraging partnerships and service delivery across geographical areas. They acknowledged the World Bank Group’s reengagement in June 2025 and the vast need to address the drivers of fragility and strengthen resilience. They appreciated the WBG implementation of strong monitoring, oversight, and risk mitigation arrangements.  \nDirectors were supportive of Syria’s access to increased IDA resources through RECA and other instruments and urged the WBG to explore additional financing to help in the reforms and reconstruction efforts within a sustainable debt situation. They also expressed support for the program’s focus on infrastructure, -particularly energy-, human capital, building social cohesion and gender equality. They encouraged support for programing that will enhance local implementation capacity with the purpose of long-term sustainability ofservices, as well as gender inclusiveness.  \nDirectors requested that Management monitor and help build capacity to embrace a large program of support.
