I’m insane and bored and depressed so fuck it we ball I’m making this. While I’m gonna try to group it by game and oldest to newest events, there won’t be a particular order or dates since that’s secondary. Additionally humans are fallible and can get stuff wrong so while I will try to maintain accuracy and keep my subjective thoughts separate, it is still possible for me to get something wrong or misrepresented. The comic sans is my artistic expression and is nonnegotiable.  \nWith the preamble gone let’s start with some preliminary information before getting into the weeds.  \n● GAMES:  \n○ Corruption of Champions, or CoC, was a flash game created by Fenoxo. It followed a character referred to as the Champion of Mareth on their quest to stop demons. It was fairly well received and had a following encouraged by the ability to submit content created by the community and varied content. To this day the game still receives mod support.  \n○ Trials in Tainted Space, aka TiTS, while not fully relevant to this will be mentioned for coverage sake. It is Fenoxo’s game he made following the completion ofCoC. Not much to go into since I’m focusing on CoC but maybe I’ll include its own drama. The main thing to note is that this is Fenoxo’s current focus and he has no involvement at this point and time with the sequel to CoC outside of endorsing its existence.  \n○ Fall of Eden. Created by Alder, this game was meant to be a sort of spiritual successor to CoC. The game is unfinished and abandoned. There was no clear answer as to why and I’ll refrain from speculation, especially in this section, but it had its own drama that has bled over into future projects. The game is abbreviated to FoE.  \n○ Corruption of Champions 2 is the big focus and easiest to document since it’s more recent. Created by a writer from the first game and personal friend to Fenoxo by the name of Savin.  \n● PEOPLE:  \n○ Fenoxo, also called Fen, is the creator of CoC and TiTS. He was the lead developer and writer for CoC and until an incident we’ll list further, was the project lead for TiTS. He has since stepped back from this role and primarily handles updates.  \n○ Savin. This is a name that will be seen a lot. Savin was a writer for CoC and is a friend ofFenoxo. Savin is the creator and team lead for CoC2 . He is also a writer for, and nominally team lead of, TiTS. It is hard to summarize him or write in an objective manner in a short paragraph. He will be brought up a lot.  \n○ The Observer, often shortened to Tobs, was a writer for FoE and now a main contributor and team member ofCoC2 . Drama follows this person. To add context for what will come up later, Tobs is a Chinese man who writes in lengthy purple prose and is a clear Japanophile. This information is relevant given his contributions to CoC2 . He’ll come up almost as much as Savin.  \n○ Alder. Alder is doing his own thing and has moved on but he is the creator of FoE and shouldn’t be disregarded. To my knowledge he has cut himself off from the Fenoxo community and makes art for Furafinity. While uninvolved in what is relevant to discussion I wanted to credit him nonetheless.  \n○ Skow is a writer for CoC2 . She created the companion Azzyran and her romantic subplot.
