On his way, he passed the field of sunflowers by his house. The young sunflowers were just beginning to get taller. Sam noticed that all of the sunflowers seemed to be facing the same direction, like his classmates do when they listen to their teacher read a story at school! Sam wondered to himself why all of the sunflowers would grow facing the same direction. He noticed they seemed to all be facing the sun! \nSam kept walking past the edge of the sunflower field and finally reached his friend’s house. Sam and his friend played all day long. They rode bikes, built a fort, and even ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch. Sam’s mom called and told him it was almost dinnertime, and he needed to start walking home before the sun went down and it would be too dark. Sam said goodbye to his friend and started his walk home. \nAs Sam walked down the road and got closer to the field of sunflowers, he remembered what he had seen this morning—all those sunflowers facing the same way! As Sam walked by the sunflowers, he noticed something looked different from this morning. All of the sunflowers were now facing the opposite direction! \nHow could this be? Sam stopped to look at the sunflowers and remembered his thinking from this morning. This morning, Sam thought all of the sunflowers were facing the sun. He turned around to see where the sun was in the sky now, and, sure enough, he was right again! The sunflowers had turned and were still facing the sun that was now in a different part of the sky.","cbCaiaRoFIOC05ie","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiaRoFIOC05ie","pdf",36536,"English","# Appendix B: Sunflower Story\n## Sam notices the sunflowers\n## Sam plays and returns\n## The sunflowers turn toward the sun","[{\"question\":\"Why does Sam think all the sunflowers are facing the same direction?\",\"answer\":\"Sam notices they seem to face the same way, like classmates listening to a teacher.
