The narrative begins by establishing a long-standing conflict between the Sun, Moon, Rain, and Wind, each asserting their desire to exert their influence continuously. The Sun wished to shine all day, the Moon to illuminate the night every day, Rain to shower the earth daily, and Wind to perpetually blow. This conflict stemmed from their unwillingness to yield to each other's turn. To resolve their dispute, they convened for a discussion. During this dialogue, the Sun inquired of the Moon about her contributions to the earth, to which the Moon responded that she provides light at night, enabling nocturnal animals to hunt. Subsequently, the Moon questioned Rain about its role, and Rain explained that it nourishes the earth with water, facilitating the robust growth of trees and plants, and providing essential drinking water for animals. Rain then queried Wind about its purpose, and Wind stated that it cleanses the earth and disperses the rain across the globe. Finally, Wind asked the Sun about its function, and the Sun declared that it bestows light and warmth upon the earth, supporting the existence of animals and plants.
