It focuses on usefulness, motivation, and effectiveness in improving language skills. As digital language learning platforms grow in popularity, understanding user experience and satisfaction is important to assess their impact on language acquisition.  \nThe study uses a quantitative open-ended survey consisting of 16 questions. Data was collected using Google Forms and analyzed using a 5-Likert scale. Data was analyzed using SPSS. In terms of language skill development, students reported significant gains in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, and writing. Duolingo's diverse exercises and activities are proven to improve practical language skills and provide a comprehensive, engaging learning experience. Responses to collect data from a sample of students using Duolingo to learn English. The survey indicates positive perceptions of Duolingo among students, highlighting its potential as a valuable resource for English language learners. By continually developing and incorporating user feedback, Duolingo can further strengthen its role in language education, providing learners with an effective and enjoyable path to English proficiency.  \nKeywords: Duolingo; learning English; students’perception  \nINTRODUCTION  \nIn recent years, digital tools have significantly transformed the landscape of language learning, offering students innovative ways to engage with new languages. Traditional classroom-based language learning methods, while effective, often fail to adequately engage students or meet their individual learning needs. Advances in technology have transformed the educational landscape, introducing innovative tools and platforms that enable more flexible and personalized learning experiences. According to (Diva, Etfita, and Wahyuni 2022) Technology has increasingly brought massive impacts in various sectors including education. It provides many benefits and has an essential role in people life. One such tool is Duolingo, a popular language learning app that uses gamification to teach English and other languages. Duolingo’s interactive and user-friendly interface has made it an attractive option for learners worldwide, especially for those who seek flexible and accessible language learning methods. This study aims to explore students' perceptions of using Duolingo as a tool for learning  \nEnglish. By investigating how students perceive the effectiveness, usability, and motivational aspects of Duolingo, this research seeks to provide insights into its potential as a supplementary tool in formal language education.
