One of the online platforms that can be used is YouTube. YouTube is an online platform that provides videos on various fields, from entertainment, technology, socio-culture, education and so on. YouTube learning English channel such as learn English with lucy, BBC learning English, and so on is educational channel for learning English. Considering that fact, the researcher conducts a survey and interview to university students to know the students’ perception about YouTube learning English channels in improving vocabulary. The researcher chose vocabulary because it is one of language component that plays an important part in mastering the language itself. The researcher conducts this research on the 5th and 7th semester students at English Education Program of Faculty of Cultural Studies of Brawijaya University. This study discussed about the university students’ perceptions of YouTube learning English channels in improving vocabulary.  \nThis study was conducted by using quantitative method. For the design, the researcher used survey study. For strengthening the result, the researcher added interview. There were 100 questionnaires responded by the students in total.  \nThe result of this study shows that the use of YouTube learning English channels in improving students’ vocabulary has a positive impact for students.
