The tests are designed to measure students’ achievement of program learning outcomes among undergraduate candidates expected to graduate, and to support public and private universities and colleges in assessing the quality of their educational outputs and identifying opportunities for improvement, without having any impact on students’ academic progression or graduation decisions.
These standardized tests are implemented pursuant to a decision of the University Affairs Council, mandating the generalization of standardized testing with the aim of evaluating graduates’ learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and values across academic disciplines, as well as measuring the quality of educational processes and outputs through tests administered by ETEC.
In light of this, ETEC launched the Higher Education Graduates’ Readiness for the Labor Market Program (Jahziah) to establish discipline-specific frameworks that define the minimum required knowledge, skills, and values for each academic field. This is achieved through collaboration between academic teams from universities and specialized teams representing national entities and relevant private sector organizations, followed by the development of standardized tests for graduates based on these discipline-specific frameworks.
The measurement of academic program outputs aims to strengthen graduates’attainment of the minimum required knowledge, skills, and values (learning outcomes) for each discipline, enhance university graduates’ readiness to enter the labor market, and promote alignment between academic program outputs and labor market requirements. It also contributes to reducing unemployment rates and increasing gross domestic product, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
4
Student Guide
to Standardized Tests
First: Information about the Test
| Start of Test Administration | 01 /02/ 2026AD |
| --- | --- |
| End of Test Administration | 17 / 02 / 2026AD |
| Administration Mechanism | Computer-Based, In-Person |
| Test Venue | University Computer Laboratories |
| Administration Time | During official university working hours, from 9:00 [a. m. to](a. m. to)[ ](a. m. to)[3:00 p. m.](3:00 p. m.) , according to the daily administration schedules (as specified in Second: Jahziah Test Schedule for 2026) . |
| Target Group | Students expected to graduate during the 2025–2026 academic year |
| Fields of
Specialization | 51 disciplines (as specified in Second: Jahziah Test Schedule for 2026) |
| Administration Instruments | • Multiple-choice questions (55–85), depending on the discipline.
General questionnaire.
|
| Test Duration | Varies by discipline and ranges from 90 to 120 minutes, including the questionnaire. |
| Test Language | English for the following disciplines: Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, English (Lingu","cbCaitdispWfkNub","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaitdispWfkNub","pdf",1995071,15,"English","# Introduction
## First: Information about the Test
## Second: Jahziah Test Schedule for 2026
## Third: Academic Standards for the Targeted Specializations
## Fourth: Pre-Test Instructions
## Fifth: Instructions Inside the Test Hall
## Sixth: Accessing the Test Platform","[{"question":"What is the purpose of the Jahziah standardized tests for higher education graduates?","answer":"The tests measure graduates’ achievement of program learning outcomes and support universities in assessing educational quality and improvement opportunities without affecting academic progression or graduation decisions."},{"question":"How is the Jahziah 2026 test administered and where is it held?","answer":"The tests use a computer-based, in-person mechanism and are held in university computer laboratories during official university working hours."},{"question":"Which disciplines have English or Arabic as the test language in 2026?","answer":"English is used for listed disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, and English Literature, while Arabic is used for specified disciplines such as Public Administration and Public Relations; other disciplines follow each university’s determination."}]","Student Guide - Jahziah Standardized Tests for Graduates of Higher Education Institutions - 2026 | PDF",1789718645,38]
