We would like to underscore our unwavering solidarity with the Moroccan and Libyan people. We offer our deep condolences to the families of the earthquakes and flood victims. In a world fraught with many challenges, we urge the Bank to continue to offer support and expertise to facilitate and provide the necessary assistance for reconstruction efforts.  \n2. We would also like to express our utmost appreciation to the Government of Morocco for their effort to host the meeting, amid these challenging circumstances, in a very harmonic and synergic rhythm with the Management of the Bank and the Fund.  \n3. The global situation is facing complex challenges, from climate change, food and nutrition security, digital transition, high debt levels, to conflicts and rising geopolitical tensions, while the global target of ending poverty remains out of reach. Well-designed and appropriately sequenced policies are critical to help accelerate growth and support the green and digital transitions, while minimizing policy trade-offs. In this regard, we strongly support the collaboration between the Bank and the Fund in assisting member countries to address challenges and leverage opportunities.  \n4. We would like to extend our appreciation to the management and the board for their relentless dedication and visionary leadership. Their oversight has guided us through the World Bank Evolution Roadmap process including the introduction of a new vision and mission to better reflect the effort to address global challenges, particularly in addressing the existential threat to people and the planet. We concurred the reform agenda within the multilateral development banks (MDBs) landscape is paramount, and we are proud to highlight our role in this evolution, to endorse the new mission and vision, signify our commitment to continuous improvement.  \n5. We take note that Roadmap process are making significant progress. The creation of a new World Bank’s playbook that reflect the new vision and mission, with solution to support country priorities are very much welcomed. We look forward and welcome the new playbook that is envisaged to enhance and modernize the way the bank provides finance and knowledge, particularly in doubling down the impact of among others the knowledge compacts that focusing on core country analytics, country engagement, crisis preparedness and response, Global Development Programs as well as improve deliverables on operational efficiencies, and to the people and culture. We acknowledge the development of the new set of scorecards to ensure the result is aligned with the new vision and mission of the Bank.  \n6. As we look ahead, the next step is important. We must continue to serve all our members, big or small, rich or poor, strong or weak. The Bank has a responsibility to continue to support member countries, towards creating a better world, as aspired to in the new vision and mission.
