\nWashington,DC  \nOn behalf of our constituency,we commend the World Bank Group's(WBG)efforts to promote growthand address the global jobs challenge,as outlined in the strategic paper “Foundations for Growth and Jobs”.We also express appreciation to President Ajay Banga for his leadership and commitment.Addressing thejobs challenge requires decisive and coordinated action by the WBG,member governments,donors,andthe private sector.  \nBuilding on the agenda advanced at the last DC meeting,we call for sustained momentum to prioritizefoundational investments,create enabling environments,and mobilize finance and knowledge to translateprojects into decent employment at scale.We also welcome the WBG's work through the ShareholdingReview to better align capital resources with its strategic ambitions,as highlighted in the“Progress Reportto Governors on the 2025 Shareholding Review”.  \n# Reflections\n\nAs emphasized during the previous DC meeting,we reiterate our support for the WBG's three-pillarapproach.  \nFirst,through IBRD and IDA,we welcome collaboration with governments and the private sector to investin critical foundational infrastructure.  \nSecond,we value the Group's contribution to fostering a business-friendly environment through clear landlaws,predictable tax systems,and transparent institutions,supported by knowledge and policy-basedfinancing.  \nThird,we commend the role of IFC and MIGA in mobilizing private investment at scale and in rewardingrisk-taking by providing capital,equity,guarantees,and political risk insurance,while ICSID ensures asound dispute-resolution framework.  \nWe particularly appreciate the coherence of this approach,where the three pillars reinforce one another.We also welcome the focus on five priority sectors with strong job-creation potential:infrastructure,agribusiness,healthcare,tourism,and value-added manufacturing.  \nWe encourage the WBG to embed these pillars systematically into Country Partnership Frameworks and toprovide clear roadmaps for implementation,especially in fragile and conflict-affected situations(FCS)countries.Recognising that one size does not fit all,we emphasize the need for adaptive strategies tailoredto country-specific contexts.  \nFoundations for Jobs  \nReliable infrastructure remains a cornerstone of private-sector job creation.Electricity,transport corridors,ports,and digital connectivity reduce costs,expand markets,and unlock investment.Projects such ashydropower in Pakistan or the expansion of Tanger Med Port in Morocco demonstrate how well-designedinfrastructure catalyzes employment and regional trade.We therefore encourage the WBG to linkinfrastructure investment explicitly to local job outcomes,with measurable targets on constructionemployment,local content,and long-term operations.  \nPublic-Private Partnerships(PPPs)should be further leveraged to expand resilient infrastructure.Theprivate sector must embrace its role as a development partner,while governments create the conditions forinvestment aligned with SDG-driven job creation.  \nHuman infrastructure is equally critical.We welcome
