From COVID-19 Crisis Response to Resilient Recovery-Saving Lives and Livelihoods whileSupporting Green,Resilient,and Inclusive Development (GRID)  \nWe commend the World Bank Group on the progress made with implementation of its crisis response andare pleased with the speed,scale,and targeted nature of its work.We would like to underscore in particularthe importance of the emphasis placed on resilience,inclusion,and sustainability.We also view the newstrategic orientation toward green growth,based on the GRID approach,as a testament to our institution'sfirm commitment to achieving the goal of combating climate change set forth in the Paris Agreement.  \nIn this regard,we would like to point out that the GRID approach should be accompanied by a specifictimetable clearly indicating the financing arrangements for the measures outlined in this comprehensiveapproach  \nWe also commend the World Bank Group on the establishment of a $160 billionenvelope for the current fiscal year,which entailed a record commitment of $82.9 billion between Apriland December 2020.However,we note the needs of the countries in the areas of humanitarian anddevelopment assistance,which will be greater in the coming fiscal years and,in this regard,would like tounderscore the importance of strengthened cooperation,collaboration,and coordination with the othermultilateral development banks and the international community,so as to meet the challenge posed bylimited financial resources.  \nWe hold the view that the mobilization of more private sector capital is of vital importance in order tosecure the financing needed for the uninterrupted provision of such basic public services as health andeducation and that IFC and MIGA have a key role to play in this regard.The same applies to themobilization of domestic resources,which calls for the in-depth examination of strategies for theirenhancement.  \nWe also recognize the need to tailor the measures adopted to the specific economic
