Texts explore the warmth that follows winter, the imagery of blue skies, birdsong, flowers, and rain, and the personal meanings of change, trust, and new beginnings. Multiple authors describe spring’s power to inspire the heart, awaken senses, and offer hope through nature’s rebirth, often framed as something felt rather than only seen.",{"@graph":14,"@context":71},[15,34,54],{"@type":16,"itemListElement":17},"BreadcrumbList",[18,23,27,31],{"item":19,"name":20,"@type":21,"position":22},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",1,{"item":24,"name":25,"@type":21,"position":26},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":28,"name":29,"@type":21,"position":30},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/literature/","Literature",3,{"item":32,"name":10,"@type":21,"position":33},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/spring-a-collection-of-poems-and-essays/661218/",4,{"url":32,"name":10,"@type":35,"image":36,"author":41,"headline":10,"publisher":44,"fileFormat":47,"inLanguage":8,"description":12,"dateModified":48,"datePublished":48,"encodingFormat":47,"isAccessibleForFree":49,"interactionStatistic":50},"DigitalDocument",{"url":37,"@type":38,"width":39,"height":40},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/spring-a-collection-of-poems-and-essays/661218.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":42,"@type":43},"Sophia Brooks","Person",{"url":19,"name":45,"@type":46},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-28",true,{"@type":51,"interactionType":52,"userInteractionCount":22},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":53},"ViewAction",{"@type":55,"mainEntity":56},"FAQPage",[57,63,67],{"name":58,"@type":59,"acceptedAnswer":60},"How do the pieces describe the difference between winter and spring?","Question",{"text":61,"@type":62},"Spring is presented as warm, joyful, and emotionally uplifting, arriving after freezing cold and leaving winter behind. Shelley) \nFinally, and again and again Spring has arrived with all its warm feelings , such as Joy, Love, Felicity and what not... Perhaps to most of us. And what could be better than melting one's heart from winter's freezing weather, slush and sleet, letting in the most fascinating, beautiful things into your soul. \nBe happy, \nYours, Jolanta. \nWHAT’S BETTER TO US? \nIt’s not always better to see, So close your eyes sometimes. It’s not always better to feel, So hide feelings in your heart. It’s not always better to believe, So stop believing for a moment. But it’s always better to trust, That’s how we save humanity in each other. \nEYES \nWhat can you see in those blue eyes. It’s getting hard to breath sometimes. This tiny mirror of your soul Brings out emotions inside out. My heart beats faster when you look. \nI lose reality for seconds. And all I see are mirrored eyes, In which I’m lost.. \nI can’t come back. \n(Aistė Mačytė 3B) \nPOEM \nsickly sweet warmth as she arrives with daisy and merry in her step when the crocuses push through ground \nand their budding blooms reach upward arms held aloft the willowed branches green buds and silky tails swayed among the vast wispy vapour scattered lovingly against the blue feet stained with grass and dirt \nwith new blades peaking from the frost from now-warmed once-still soil toiled by earthworms beneath her bed with hair flowing, a river of petals cascading across the valley wide reaching every marsh and moor \nbluebells chiming an echo across \nMade by Rimantė Milimavičiūtė 1A \nBirdsong \nYou know what brings me happiness? It’s neither you nor all of your words. It’s the spring sky’s blueness and the early morning’s birdsongs. \nThe birds may sing their melody, Just not for you to hear. \nAnd if you can’t keep up with me, You don’t deserve my spring affair. \nSpring \nNo matter what, the spring will come Leaving cold winter in the past. You can cut all the flowers Anyway, the spring will blast. \nIt will bring happiness and joy, Bring a whole wide world to life. Using its brightness and coy Will welcome us to summer’s jive. \nChanges \nSome people say, the spring is like a new beginning, It’s time to change ourselves or free our minds from cages. \nIt’s time to fix mistakes. \nBut if they only knew that, No matter what it takes I won’t appear in this combat. \nEven If I had another chance to try, I wouldn’t change a thing. \nIt all made me edify \nAnd no flower grows without dirt. \nKristina Valentė 2a \nSpring necessities \nI cannot survive spring without a few of my favourite spring oriented things. I always have to have my mustard yellow scarf, which warms me when the ice cold wind tries to gently kiss my neck or cheeks. I have to have my umbrella, which makes a drum like noise, when it plays with the raindrops above my head, actually sometimes it likes to whistle with the wind, I think it’s trying to talk to someone, it should be pretty lonely being an umbrella. I have to have myearbuds, I cannot go a day without music, it would be weird not to feel your pulse and walking pattern starting to mimic the rhythm of your favourite songs, your hands trying to dance just a little in your coat pockets and your lips trying to get the words of the song that you just found yesterday correctly. Sometimes, when I’m walking to school, I start imagining a whole different world created by the music, all the colours start to merge, all the plants start to prosper, blooming in colours I have never imagined of. It’s the spring, that my heart is feeling, we all have that spring inside of us. It’s the spring of our minds, every single cell is rested and renewed, our minds are clearer than ever, our eyes are still glossy from the tears that the wind has induced, but they’re widely opened, they’re trying to see the beauty of spring. \nMelita Virpšaitė 3D \nHome \nIt feels as if you’re waiting to meet the friend you haven’t seen in a long tim","cbCaijlnjs8lNvXa","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaijlnjs8lNvXa","pdf",2313418,"English","# What’s Better to Us?\n# Eyes\n# Poem\n# Birdsong\n# Spring\n# Changes\n# Spring Necessities\n# Home","[{\"question\":\"How do the pieces describe the difference between winter and spring?\",\"answer\":\"Spring is presented as warm, joyful, and emotionally uplifting, arriving after freezing cold and leaving winter behind.
