primary propeller,which kicked up old loves in thedust.Through writing I framed the ache—the pain of losingmy beloved and his brothers,then surfaced the deaths of mybrother,my father,mother,and my two best friends.In thislandslide of loss I found memories and emotions swirlingaround my body.When I recall all of this the icon of corpsepose warrants a click.  \nI wrote in spits and spurts.Poems woke me up in the nightThey spoke in rage and anger and sometimes served as a kissgoodnight.Descriptors of feelings real and sometimesunattractive began to spell my name.Victim,hungry,cynic,joker salved the pain.In between those brutal bruises lovecontinued to peek through.I could not ignore what spilled outof my heart,my hand.Love is as real as rage and I held themboth.One is easier to hold on its
