Directors acknowledged the challenges posed by climate change for Somalia’s economy and its people and urged the World Bank to support investments in climate adaptation and resilience. They looked forward to the completion of the CCDR and called for its findings to be incorporated in new projects.  \nDirectors recognized the low domestic resource mobilization and challenging fiscal situation in Somalia and encouraged a strong and ambitious focus on DRM. They welcomed the continued engagement by the IMF and the World Bank, including the programmatic Development Policy Operation. They noted the additional resources made available to Somalia through the IDA Turn Around Allocation (TAA) and supported the related monitoring and verification benchmarks. They appreciated the strategic partner engagement through the Multi Partner Fund towards state and institution building and increasing resilience in Somalia.  \nDirectors encouraged a stronger collaboration between IDA, IFC and MIGA to enable and strengthen private sector development in Somalia and provide jobs and economic opportunities ina currently informal and fragmented economy, with a special focus on gender equality and youth.
